come directly from
sources carefully
checked and selected
by us.
You can choose between
natural and artificial
slates.
Natural slate is slightly
more expensive, but
looks better for
longer and will last
for up to 80 years.
Artificial slate is somewhat
less expensive, is
just as waterproof
and has a neat appearance.
We generally use
polymer fibre slates
which we source directly
from the manufacturer.
These will last for
around 40 years .

Ultimately the choice
is yours. There may
be cases where only
one type of slate
can be used, in which
case we will advise
you accordingly.

There are many different
types of profiles
of tiles from many
different manufacturers.
They really fall
into four categories,
Hand made Clay Tiles,
Machine made clay
tiles, simulated
clay tiles and concrete
tiles.
If you are looking for
real character you
would choose hand
made clay tiles.
If you were looking
for the least expensive
large format tile
you would choose
concrete. Please
